Osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by manipulating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework. An osteopath focuses on the joints, muscles, and spine. Treatment aims to positively affect the body’s nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems.
Manual medicine means that both diagnosis and treatment are carried out with the hands. Techniques include stretching, gentle pressure, and resistance.
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
FDM (Fascial Distorsion Therapy) is a symptom based release method, extremely helpful at treating acute injuries as much as restrictions in fascial mobility after some old traumata.
Osteopathy can provide relief and treatment for a wide range of conditions, such as:
- foot, ankle, hip, and knee pain
- back pain, neck pain, and sciatica
- hand, shoulder, and elbow pain
- tennis and golfer’s elbow
- postural problems due to pregnancy, sports injury, driving or work strain, or digestive issues
Osteopathic physicians can also detect conditions that are not treatable through osteopathy, to refer patients to other specialists.
My name is Endre Hajdú. I started my training in 2012 with an accredited medical and sports massage course (2 years) and followed on with other muscle, fascia and joint manipulation courses thereafter.
I started my osteopath training at a german college (IFAO- Institut für Angewandte Osteopathy) in 2017. Osteopathy is both my job and my hobby, I thrive to treat as precisely and gently as possible. I often work together with other manual therapists, physios and doctors in a team that is solution focused. I highly value the expertise of my colleagues in Budapest, in Kaposvár and in Kecskemét.
